Extensive Experience. Bruce has practiced law in Arizona since 1984. After working in large Phoenix law firms for several years, he formed his own firm in 1995, focusing primarily on family law matters. Bruce has argued cases in Superior Court and U.S. District Court and before the Arizona Court of Appeals and U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He applies his family law experience as a Judge Pro Tem in Maricopa County Superior Court, presiding at hearings and settlement conferences. He also has appeared as a lecturer at law seminars and authored numerous articles on family law.

Phoenix Roots. Bruce grew up in Phoenix and graduated from Trevor G. Browne High School. He received his bachelor's degree with honors from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and his master's degree with honors from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, before earning his law degree at the University of Arizona in 1984.

Community Volunteer. Bruce is active in his church and community. An active volunteer his whole life, Bruce has served on the Phoenix YMCA Board of Directors, Family Promise Homeless Shelter, 19North and the Church of the Beatitudes. He also has served the Boy Scouts of America as an adult leader and Assistant Scoutmaster for over 15 years. In addition, he has been honored for his commitment to the promotion of access to justice by the Volunteer Lawyer Program in 2004 and by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education in 2005.

Family Man. Bruce and his wife have two children. An Eagle Scout, Bruce enjoys camping, fishing and hunting with his family. He is also an avid traveler and explorer.
