Bruce Brown has been practicing law in Arizona for over twenty-three years. After working in large Phoenix law offices for several years, he formed his own firm in 1995, focusing primarily on family law matters. He has appeared as a lecturer at law seminars and has authored articles on family law. Based upon his extensive experience in family law, Mr. Brown often assists the courts as a Judge Pro Tem by presiding at (handling) hearings as well as settlement conferences to resolve family law disputes.                    

              As the senior trial attorney at the firm, Mr. Brown has practiced before a variety of courts in Arizona , including the Arizona Superior Court, the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Arizona Federal District Court . He has even argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Federal Appeals in San Francisco, California .              

             Mr. Brown grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from Trevor G. Browne High School . He received his bachelor's degree with honors in 1979 from Colby College in Waterville, Maine; and his master's degree with honors from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand two years later. He received his law degree from the University of Arizona in 1984.

             Mr. Brown is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association and the Arizona Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the courts of Arizona as well as the Federal Court System.  He was honored for his commitment to the promotion of access to justice by the Volunteer Lawyer's Program in 2004 and again in 2005 by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education.

             Mr. Brown currently focuses his practice on family law issues (divorces, custody disputes, paternity, child support and alimony enforcement, grandparents' rights, wills and probate) and personal injury cases. He also has experience in civil litigation, medical malpractice, asbestos litigation, slip and fall cases and bankruptcy.               

             Mr. Brown is active locally in his Church and the community. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Family Promise - Greater Phoenix, a nonprofit interfaith homeless shelter serving displaced families, and has served on a number of State and County Bar Association committees. He volunteers at the Phoenix YMCA as well as his son's Cub Scout Pack. He is also provides services for the Volunteer Lawyer's Program and Nicaragua disaster relief.

             Mr. Brown is married, with two minor children. He enjoys camping, fishing and hunting with his family; plus traveling. He is an Eagle Scout.
